Last 2 Ayat of Surah Baqarah

 

The Prophet said, If one recites the last two Verses of Surat-al-Baqara at night, it is sufficient for him (for that night) – Sahih al-Bukhari 5040

These two ayats were gifted to prophet Muhammad(SAW) on sky.

The basic beliefs of a Muslim have been described in these verses. When a person recites these verses, it is as if he testifies to his belief that he believes in Allah and in what Allah has revealed. It includes the belief in angels, inspired books, and all messengers. These beliefs were the most emphasized in Islam. Perhaps this is the reason why the excellence of these verses is very high. In these verses, a Muslim confesses that he does not differentiate between any of the Messengers. Moreover, in these verses, it has been mentioned that whatever is ordered by Allah, should be accepted immediately and there should not be some kind of delay. It is said in these words, “We heard and we obeyed.”Humble Prayers In the last verse of Surah Baqarah, an attribute of Allah is mentioned that He does not burden anyone with more than he can bear. The person who does good or bad actions in this world will be rewarded in the same way in the Hereafter. The burden of someone else’s sins will never be put on him. Also, in this last verse, Allah has taught us many prayers.
